Material Murano Blown Glass
Ispired by Vase from the pottery collection of the Etruscan Museum in Milan, Italy
“But he who dares not grasp the thorn should never crave the rose.”
The Murano glass Batos vase is a reinterpretation of the impasto and bucchero pottery collection that will be showcased at the Etruscan Museum in Corso Venezia, Milan. The museum, owned by the Luigi Rovati Foundation and designed by Mario Cucinella Architects, is currently under construction.
The three spikes on the handle create an optical illusion of brightness and contrast with the sinuous shape of the glass cup. The blown glass makes every vase a unique piece.
