“Dance is architecture in motion.”
The Guastalla vase recalls the sinuous shapes of La Balena nursery school in Guastalla. The body of this 3D printed vase is made of black clay and is created by rotating and vertically translating the building's cross-section.
Shaping a material that the earth gave us millions of years ago with state-of-the-art technology such as 3D printing, creates a special bond between the past and the present. The black color is obtained from the linseed oil finish.
