MCV Container
Made by WASP, 2019
Material Black Clay, Linseed Oil
Inspired by the Etruscan Museum in Milan, Italy
“Curiosity is the clay from which all knowledge is formed.”
The 3D printed MCV container is made of black clay and draws inspiration from the Luigi Rovati Foundation Museum. The museum, designed by Mario Cucinella Architects, is currently under construction.
Working a material that the earth gave us millions of years ago with state-of-the-art technology, such as 3D printing, creates a special bridge between the past and the present. The color black is obtained from the linseed oil finish.
